Movie Screening – Tangerines

The Georgian Students Association and the Young Ambassador of Georgia to Canada, as part of their mandate, hosted a movie night along with the photo gallery in commemoration of the September 27th Fall of Sokhumi.

The event featured a screening of Tangerines, a powerful film set during the 1992–1993 war in Abkhazia. Tangerines tells the story of an Estonian man living in Georgia who shelters two wounded soldiers from opposing sides. The film explores themes of humanity, conflict, and reconciliation amidst the horrors of war.
